... WHERE CULTURE BLOSSOMS

Take part

Take part

'Take pART' is the exciting new Cultural Services participatory activities programme for Rhondda Cynon Taf. Funded by the Arts Council of Wales, Take Part creates opportunities for you to get involved with the arts through participatory and educational workshops and talks, in each of our three Cultural Services’ venues, to complement the professional theatre programme.

Workshops are aimed at providing people with something to aspire to, along with encouraging and inspiring them to see the arts as adding quality to their lives.  The programme of activity will aim to engage local people in the arts, providing pathways to healthier and more productive lives.  The opportunities to participate will assist in creating a strong cultural identity for Rhondda Cynon Taf.

LITTLE RUBY RED TELLS TALES.
Presented by Theatre Iolo

An enchanting musical performance with feasting and fibbing based on young children’s retellings of favourite stories from around the world.

Once upon a time, in her favourite red, red coat, with its red, red hood, Ruby set off to visit her Nan with a basket of red, red apples on her arm.

Who did she meet on the way?  The three dwarves who lived with Snow White. Ella with her glassy slippers and a pumpkin.  And a tiger, of course!   Or did she? …. because Ruby likes telling tales!
