It hasn’t been Ruby’s day; she has a lot to deal with.  Her beloved son, Nigel, is in hospital after a car crash, in which his lover Kevin has sustained terrible injuries.   Griff, Nigel’s father, has discovered his son is not only a drag queen, but also gay.  Ever sensible and strong Ruby must deal with family secrets, prejudices and her own confused emotions, while doing everything possible to save her wayward family.
