This tongue-in-cheek 50’s-style sci-fi musical about a florist’s assistant, who creates a monster man-eating plant, will have you singing, dancing, and thinking about botany in a whole different light!

Relive the spirit of the Forties in this nostalgic afternoon performance of sing - along songs from the War years including hits form Vera Lynn, Donald Peers, Gracie Fields, George Formby, Bing Crosby, and famous comedians, Max Miller and Tessie O’Shea. Share the music and laughter that kept Britain smiling through her darkest days.

This enchanting story is based on the famous classic written by Frances Hodgson Burnett, author of "The Secret Garden."
Sara Crew is a rich girl adored by her father and treated as a princess at boarding school - until her father dies. Forced to live as a hungry pauper at the hands of her wicked headmistress Miss Minchin, her life is turned upside down until a mysterious gentleman from India moves in next door and curious things begin to happen.
The show is preceded by a rehearsal workshop where audience members are invited to participate.

But the Lilac Fairy intervenes, and when the fateful day arrives, the princess and the entire palace instead fall into a deep sleep.
A century later, it’s down to the handsome Prince to fight his way through the forest to the enchanted castle and bestow the kiss of true love on the lips of the Sleeping Beauty.

In Pencaster, everyone has received a letter from the Palace, delivered by Pat and his faithful cat Jess, of course. Someone special is coming to open the brand new SDS Sorting Office and they only have a short time to get themselves, and Pencaster, prepared for a very royal visit.
Mrs Goggins, Ted Glen and Ben Taylor are helping with the preparations, while PC Selby finally has something important to do! What could possibly go wrong…….?
But look out! Just as everything is prepared a storm hits Pencaster throwing the royal visit into doubt. Only one man can be counted on – the Head of the SDS, Postman Pat of course... with a little help from his trusty sidekick Jess the Cat and his brand new SDS Helicopter!
