  • Child’s play

    Child’s play

As the name suggests, this season is all about the little people! Ranging from large scale performances from international TV characters such as Barney (you know, that big, purple, totally annoying dinosaur!), to pantomime, to totally engaging and award-winning children's dramas, to children's films - all the events in this season will have the kids enthralled - and we recon you'll enjoy it too!

    Season activities

Each season if there are any special offers, special family tickets, or children's competitions, these will be highlighted within the family area of this site .

This season, in conjunction with Rhondda Cynon Taf County Borough Council Libraries, we ran a Babe the Sheep Pig poem writing competition.  We had some fantastic entries sent into the libraries, and judging was difficult, but eventually it was decided that the winner was Hannah Isaac, age 6.  Well done Hannah!

    On The Farm

On the farm there are some sheep
And horses, cows, tractors that beep.

There are some pigs that are the best
So much better than all the rest.

There are some pigs that moan and groan
They squirm around in all the foam
When they are bathed and scrubbed
They go and have fun in all the mud.

I like pigs because they are cuddly and cute
They eat and eat and eat their food.
    So do I!

    By Hannah Isaac,  Age 6
