Supporting the Soundtrack Film Festival last year created a fantastic opportunity for young people from RCT to access workshops, film screenings and exclusive talks with industry professionals! This year we are once again supporting the Festival through the RCT 14-19 Pathways programme, and have even more to offer!!!
Already, we are fully booked for the Sound & Image workshops with Media Education Wales, which includes an exclusive awards reception for the young people attending the workshops. Our allocation of places for the ‘in conversation with’ John Cale and a screening of American Psycho is also booked up!! So, if you are keen on this music journalism opportunity, get your entries into us fast!!!
If you are one of the 20 chosen, you will receive a master class with professional journalist Gail Griffiths on Friday November 13th from 6pm-9pm. You will then receive a quick tips session prior to the gig on Friday November 20th before entering the gig on your Press Pass!! All reviews will need to be sent to the PLUGGED IN team no later than midday on Sunday November 22nd for a chance to be published in the next edition. A winner will be chosen from all the reviews received and be sent to print on Monday morning!
