About us
We are the award-winning, innovative Cultural Services Department, bursting with enthusiasm for everything to do with the arts. We are driven to bring Rhondda Cynon Taff the best variety of arts performances possible and equally to spread our excitement about arts participation to everyone, from learning to juggle to forming a rock band!
Our venues
We operate 3 unique and well-loved community based multifunctional arts venues that offer an enviable range of amazing live experiences through a widespread mix of performance genres. From drama to dance, film to family events, music to mime - our developing programme of events, customer service, and continuing developments in marketing resulted in the service being awarded Regional Performing Arts Centre status, 1 of only 13 in Wales.

Our Arts Development Team
Our Arts Development Team is a shining example of what a group of extremely motivated and knowledgeable staff can do to encourage and celebrate community involvement in the arts. The Team’s work is award-winning and is highly regarded throughout Wales in its support and development of community projects in digital media, music, dance, visual arts, community touring, public art, youth arts, drama, arts and crafts. The work the team does is in the areas of:

- SONIG Youth Music Industry
- Participation and Inclusion
- Youth Arts section
- Arts & Town Centre projects – jointly funded by Cultural Services and the Economic Regeneration department
- Creative communities
